Roller shutters consist of a series of interconnected slats that are generally made out of galvanised steel, hardened plastic or aluminium, the primary purpose of which is to offer enhanced security for the premises by deterring would-be intruders from attempting a break-in. When rolled up they coil tightly into a discrete box that compliments the external appearance of the building.
